Delivery Day

Usually when we have days in the city, we are privileged to have family in the city that wants to hang out with our crew of kids. It's a win-win because they get to do things with grandparents, aunts, uncles & cousins, and we get to mow through our list with some efficiency.


This week, however, we had them accompany us. Each of them contributes to our farm operation and so we want them to be part of this also. In their own right, they all raise their own products, too, so we thought it would be good for them to see some of the places and meet some of the awesome folks we deliver lamb to.


Plus, teenagers can haul boxes and whole lambs. Maybe they can do these delivery days on their own someday.


Really exciting for us is the delivery we made to the Hearth Restaurant. Recently named by OpenTable as one of the top 100 establishments in Canada (and the only Saskatchewan restaurant on the list), we can't wait to see what Thayne and his team turn our lamb into for their menu.


I think our next Saskatoon trip should be date night... (sorry kids, ha!)
